Adam Mark Nelson, a cherished husband, father, son and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 6th at the age of 39. Born on Aug 30, 1985 in Joliet, preceded in death by his daughter, Olivia (Grace) Nelson. Adam was the life of the party, sarcastic, fun, and the always the jokester. Adam's greatest joy in life was his son, Owen (Osiris) Nelson. Adam adored his son, his fondest times with Owen were going to the woods, playing in the mud and swimming. Survived by his parents, Pamela and Mark Nelson and his sister, Ashley. Adam was married to his devoted wife, Amber Nelson for 10 years. He was a proud uncle to his nephew, Ethan (Adam) Nelson. Adam enjoyed spending weekends at home with best friend of fifteen years, Joseph Havelka. In his earlier life, his favorite childhood memories included vacationing at the family cabin in Minnesota and fishing with his father. His playful presence and comical personality will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 2:30pm. Services are at 3:00pm at Judson Church at 2800 Black Rd in Joliet.
