Adam "Stevo" Stevenson, a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, and, most notably, a Liverpool Football Club devotee tragically lost his battle with cancer on Remembrance Day, 11th November 2024.
Despite his life being cut too short too soon, he leaves endless memories in people's hearts. We will never forget his kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and ability to brighten the world. He will be forever missed.
The call of Adam's heart was serving his country in Her Majesty's armed forces. Leaving home at the age of 16, Adam had a distinguished career reaching the rank of WO1. Throughout the years his duties ranged from active service in areas of violent conflicts to most peaceful work as a mentor / instructor. Military was also his second family, where he shared some of his greatest moments with so many dear friends and most notably O'Hanlons.
He was a doting husband to his darling wife Anastasia, a proud dad to his son Sam, his daughter Dani and son-in-law Tim, and an incredible son to his mum Pat and dad Steve. He adored his cheeky grandsons Theo and Otto and he never stopped being a caring brother to his 'lil sis' Emma and the amusing uncle to his niece Abi and nephew Callum.
Adam enjoyed all that life had to offer. From working abroad and exploring new countries to regular visits home to enjoy the finest port with friends and family. He remained passionate throughout the years with his fitness and love of sport from judo and athletics to ice hockey and triathlons and of course his love of the gym. In his last chapter, with Anastasia by his side, he explored the arts, discovering a particular love for opera and ballet.
He cherished time fishing with his father and most recently playing with his grandsons and tending to the garden.
Above all else he was a man with an infectious smile, who has filled the hearts of so many and will forever remain in our loving thoughts.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate the life of Adam will be arranged, with the date to be announced. Please contact Anastasia, Dani, Emma or OJ if you would like to attend. In lieu of flowers please consider a charitable donation to the Royal British Legion, https://gofund.me/02a4ab00, a charity close to Adam's heart.
