Adam Kirk Whitehead of Watkinsville, born June 30, 1978, entered into rest on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Born in Oconee, GA, he was the son of Byron and Barbara Whitehead. Adam dedicated many years to his career as a heavy equipment operator. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but nothing was more important than spending time with his beautiful family.
Survivors include his wife, April Whitehead; children Katlynn Smith (Garrett), Lucas Whitehead, Charlie Whitehead and Kyndra Kent; grandchildren Estella Smith and Oaklyn Tullis; parents Byron and Barbara Whitehead; brother Chuck Whitehead (Bethany); and his furry best friend Remy.
The family will hold a visitation for friends Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services for Mr. Whitehead will be held at Lord and Stephens WEST on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Internment at Farmington Cemetery to follow.
