Adamo "Adam" Sanzo

Adamo "Adam" Sanzo, 66, of Enfield, beloved husband of 40 years to the late Antoinette "Toni" (Iocco) Sanzo, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Adam was born in Sepino, Italy on October 4, 1957, son of Maria (Chiarizia) Sanzo and the late Antonio Sanzo.
Adam enjoyed a dedicated 45-year career with Pratt & Whitney, from which he recently retired. Beyond his professional life, he was passionate about restoring classic cars, frequently attending car shows and auto races. He treasured spending time with his family, always finding joy in their company.
Adam is survived by his sons, Michael Sanzo and his wife Whitney of North Granby, and Mark Sanzo and his wife Stephanie of Enfield. He also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren: Adelyn, Anthony, Sammy, Alan, Ella, AJ, Zeke, and Josephine. In addition, he is remembered by his brother, Mario Sanzo and his wife Lucianna of Enfield; his sister, Renata Tsambiras and her husband Ilios of Almyros, Greece; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd, Enfield, with burial to follow at St. Patrick King St. Cemetery.
