Addison 'Addie' Jo Wisniewski, 25, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, due to complications from the flu. Born on June 15, 2000, to John and Andrea Engle Wisniewski, Addie was a 2019 graduate of Highland High School and earned her bachelor's degree in Theater Performance from the University of Mount Union in 2023. She pursued her passion for the stage as a professional actor and was proudly represented by DDO Artist Agency.

Addie was a kind hearted old soul whose warmth touched everyone around her. She taught those who loved her to embrace life fully and to be grateful for each day. Blessed with an extraordinary singing voice and an unmistakably infectious laugh, she brought joy and humor wherever she went. Addie was a devoted advocate for people with disabilities and for anyone who felt unseen or out of place. Generous by nature, she gave freely to those in need and offered steadfast friendship to anyone who needed a listening ear. She formed deep, meaningful connections with people of all ages, leaving an enduring imprint on every life she touched. Addie had a lifelong affection for animals and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Cooper, and her cherished cat, Billie Jean.

Addie was a gifted presence in the community theater world, known for her deep love of the arts and her remarkable ability to bring distinctive characters to life on stage. Her lifelong dream was realized when she made her professional regional theater debut in Fiddler on the Roof at Cleveland Playhouse, a moment of joy and pride for all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Addie is survived by her cherished sister, Harper, her closest companion and confidant. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Dan and Margie Engle; her paternal grandmother, Julia Wisniewski; her aunts, Virginia Sturgill and Sandy Hung Engle; her uncles, Beau Engle, Brock Engle, and Taylor Wisniewski; and her beloved cousins, Maggie, Izzie, Michael, William, and Danny. Addie's life was further enriched by the devoted care of Tynetta Young, the steadfast friendship of Lauren Messner, and the love of many dear friends, including Nicholas, Izzy, Gabby, Marisa, Natalie, Mattix, and Kabi. She was preceded in death by her loyal service dog, Hattie, and by her grandfather, Ralph Wisniewski, who, as her family lovingly imagines, waits by a baby grand piano to welcome her with a duet as she enters the gates of heaven.

In her final moments, Addie offered her family a simple, heartfelt reminder: 'Be good to each other.' We invite all who knew her to honor her memory by carrying those words forward and caring for one another with the same kindness she shared so freely.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, OH 44256. In celebration of Addie's bright and spirited personality, the family invites guests to wear their favorite vibrant colors. For those who cannot attend in person, the Memorial Mass will be available via live stream. Link will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Addie's honor to two organizations especially close to her heart and deeply influential in her life: The Rollettes Foundation, and the NE Ohio Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence - Note in Memory of Addie Wisniewski.
