With deep sorrow and heartfelt faith, the family of Adel "Jerry" Ibrahim Seman announces his peaceful passing on March 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Adel was the beloved husband of Latifa (Asso Yono) for 54 wonderful years. He was a devoted and loving father to Sheila (Berge) Depoyan, Sandra (Mel) Mearim, Stacey (Oday) Asmar, and Sirena, and the cherished father of the late Jerry Seman and the late Sean Seman.

He was a proud and loving Baba (grandfather) to Danny, Austin, Blake, Brianna, Zoe, Celeste, Luke, and Rocco, and a great-grandfather to Sawyer and Wylie.

Adel was the son of the late Ibrahim and Regina Seman. He was the dear brother of the late Sliwa (late Majdalene) Seman, the late Jack (late Mary) Seman, and the late Hana (late Gorial) Seman, as well as the late Sabah (late Ruth) Seman, Peter (Amira) Simaan, Simaan (Rihab) Simaan, Basima (Khalil) Bashi, Basim (Donna) Simaan, Kamal (Jeanie) Seman, Muntaha (Sam) Yono, Karim (Kifah) Simaan, Karima (Wissam) Putrus, and Gloria Simaan. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Adel immigrated to the United States in 1954 as a young boy, where he built a beautiful life for himself and his family. He was known for his deep faith, devotion to his family, and love of the outdoors. Adel especially enjoyed fishing and hunting, hobbies that brought him great joy throughout his life.

He was widely known and respected as one of the finest butchers and meat cutters in Michigan, a craft he mastered with pride and dedication. His family and friends will always remember his warm hospitality and the joyful gatherings around his backyard barbecues.

Together with his beloved wife Latifa, Adel instilled strong religious values and faith in their children and grandchildren, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will continue for generations.
