Roger Seman Obituary
Roger S. Seman, 66, of Erie, passed away Monday November 10, 2025. He was born in Erie on October 2, 1959 a son of the late Frederick P. Seman and Marilyn Slomski Hilinski.
Roger graduated from Tech Memorial High School and worked as a welder at Riley Power and several other companies until his retirement. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed music especially the band Rush, playing guitar, hunting, fishing, and camping in Kellettville, PA. Roger loved life and lived it to the fullest with laughter and always helping others.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Seman, and his step-father, Albert Hilinski.
Survivors include two sisters, Laura Flanagan of Fairview and Kathleen Jacobsen (Dan) of Akron, OH ; three brothers, Michael Seman (Victoria) of Midland, TX, Louis Seman of Erie, and Paul Seman (Sharon) of Rochester, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. which everyone is welcome to attend. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
