Adelina M. Volschow, 72, passed away at Bay Park Hospital on May 4, 2025. Adelina was born on November 6, 1952 to Andrew and Amparo (Garcia) Ochoa in Fremont, Ohio. She would go on to meet Randy Volschow, and they would marry on August 4th, 1972. Adelina and Randy would spend 52 years as husband and wife and raised two children together.
Adelina worked for the state of Ohio at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center in various roles throughout the years, retiring in 2003 after 20 years in her final role as an activity therapist. She took much pride in her work and loved working with the clients and those within the organization. In addition to her work, Adelina was a proud grandmother who often offered to help those in her family. She had a special place in her heart for her canine companion, Buckeye, who was with her even in her final days.
Adelina is survived by her husband, Randy; children, Gregory Volschow and Andrea (Ken) Larson; granddaughter, Madison Volschow; great-grandson, Colt Lee Liskai; siblings, Andy Ochoa, Albert (Jane) Ochoa, Alice Feasel, and Anthony (Lisa) Ochoa. Also surviving is her loyal canine companion, Buckeye. Preceding Adelina in death are her parents and grandson, Grant. Arrangements are being handled by Freck Funeral Chapel.
