Adeline E. Bonanno

Adeline E. Bonanno, age 92, of Parma, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Benny Bonanno, with whom she shared a loving marriage since 1954; devoted mother to Peter (Nancy) Bonanno and the late Sam Bonanno; cherished grandmother to Nicholas Bonanno, Michael Bonanno (Alicia), and Sara Caiola (Kyle). Adored great-grandmother to Dominic (deceased), Cecelia, Anthony, Corinne, and Roman; loving sister to Sandra, the late Victoria and the late Amelia; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born to Sam and Lena Paventi in Cleveland, Adeline was proud of her Italian heritage, she was the heart of every gathering, a gracious host who never let anyone leave hungry. Her meals were legendary, and her kitchen was always open. She made everyone feel like kings at her table. She worked for many years in payroll for various companies, before spending her later career serving in the cafeteria for Parma Schools, where she took joy in feeding every child who came through her line. In her free time, Adeline enjoyed leisurely walks through the Parmatown mall.

She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, selflessness, and the warmth she brought into everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Adeline will be held on Sunday October 12, 2025 from 3-7 PM at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road in Parma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 13 at 11 AM at Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142
