Ronald Armagno Obituary

Ronald L. Armagno, age 74, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Cherished husband of over thirty years of the late Rebecca "Becky" Armagno; beloved father of Matthew DiCenzi (Nicole) and Darryl "Pete" DiCenzi (Jennifer); devoted grandfather of Miles, Rachel, Max, Natalie, Scarlett, Sloane and Vida; loving brother of Dean Armagno and Jan Armagno; dearest uncle of Todd Armagno; and dear friend to numerous others, especially Steve Clay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary (nee Rubecz) Armagno.

Ron chose a career in service to others, first as a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. Later he became a fire fighter for the City of Parma, and went on to earn his certification as a paramedic, becoming the first paramedic for the City of Parma. He served in the fire department for over thirty years, concluding his career as an arson investigator for the department before his retirement.

In his leisure time, Ron loved to spend time outdoors playing bocci ball, working in the yard or tending his garden.

He loved to cook just about anything but was known among his family for his pasta fagioli and was known by everyone for his pizza!

His other past time was making wine, both crafting his own wines and also growing grapes. Over the years, he had become good at winemaking and the red wines he produced.

Ron was a humorous, fun-loving person who had many friends and enjoyed the camaraderie of their company. His greatest source of happiness was his family, especially his wife Becky, to whom he was devoted and recently lost.

While he leaves behind family and friends who will miss him, he rejoins with the one to whom he had given his heart.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to either the Stay-A-While Cat Shelter, 12662 York-Delta Dr., North Royalton, OH 44133 or online at https://stayawhilecatshelter.org/donations/ or to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 40726, Nashville, TN 37204 or online at https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/donate.
