Adeline (Addie) Evans, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, was born on August 31, 1948, at Elmore County Hospital in Alabama to Mary Alma and H.D. Daniels. She was the third eldest daughter of twelve children. Addie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, six brothers, and her husband, Bruce Evans. She leaves behind to honor her memory her devoted daughter, Mona, her loving son, Christopher, her sisters Voncil, Betty, and Sharon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended relatives, and friends who adored her. Adeline loved her children and family with all her heart. She may have been a bit stubborn at times, but her heart was always true. She fussed with her sisters now and then-but always in the sweetest fun, usually followed by even more laughter. They loved each other dearly. Addie was a woman who spoke from the heart, never sugar-coating, but always grounded in love. She loved her Mona and Chris deeply and now watches over them as their forever guardian angel. She enjoyed simple joys like Bingo and Pokeno (if you know, you know), everyone loved when she cooked her famous lasagna-a recipe she proudly passed down to Mona just weeks ago. Her nieces and nephews, and her great-nieces and great-nephews, always knew a good time was ahead whenever Aunt Addie was around. Adeline was also an avid traveler, exploring the world with curiosity and joy....and she worked hard throughout her life to provide and to care for those she loved. The blessing of her peaceful homegoing brings comfort to everyone who mourns her loss. Adeline "Addie" Evans will be deeply missed, yet her love, laughter, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
