Adeline Marie Techmeier

Adeline Marie Techmeier, age 90, of Porterfield, WI passed away October 22, 2023 at the Luther Home in Marinette, WI.
She was born in Nathan, MI to Mike and Mary (Hockbien) Ducat on May 9th 1933. She attended Nathan School, then Stephenson High School.
She married George Lamprecht on September 5th 1953 who passed away September 12th 1953 in a car accident.
She worked for 6 years at the former Scott Paper mill.
She married August Techmeier on August 29th 1959. They resided on a farm in Porterfield, working the land, raising feeder pigs and having a Christmas tree farm. After 54 years of marriage, he passed away on January 17, 2013. Adeline served faithfully in her churches, teaching Sunday School, cooking and serving church dinners, participating in women's ministries and sewing lap blankets and bibs for nursing homes. Above all, Adeline loved her Savior Jesus Christ and that was evident in her interest in the people who came into her life. Sharing her faith and inviting others to give their life to Christ was the greatest joy in her life.
Adeline is survived by their children: Dawn Johnson; her children; Tyler (Azura), Ashley (Adam) Lowis, and their children; Jenna and Autumn. Karen (Tim) Bergstrom; their children; Candace (Chris) McMahon, Eric (Angie) Bergstrom and their children; Xavier, Henry, Rory, August, and Gretta. Kirt (Char) Techmeier; their children; Emily (Bobby), Jacob (Sammi), Shane, Zachery; his child; Delilah, Crystal (Austin) and their children; Clea and Layla. She is further survived by her sisters; Doris Billings, Gladys Furton, Janet (Jim) Delaural, brother; Edwin (Noni) Ducat; and sister-in-law, Janet Ducat.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents: Michael and Mary (Hockbien) Ducat, her brothers; Joseph Ducat, Frank Ducat, and William Ducat. Her sisters in law; Margie (Joe), Jean (Bill), and Caroline (Edwin).
Family and friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, 610 Marinette Ave., Marinette, WI 54143 for visitation on Saturday, October 28th from 10:00 am CDT until 12:00 pm CDT with a service to follow at noon. A luncheon will be served after the service.
