Adelino Borges Obituary
Adelino (Lino) was born on September 17, 1961, in Soutelo, Portugal, to Silvia and Domingos Borges.
Lino was a man of simple pleasures who cherished spending time with his family. His greatest joys came from being a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother, and son.
Known for his exceptional soccer skills and his striking presence, Lino was cherished for his infectious laugh, unwavering loyalty, generosity, and genuine nature. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel both comfortable and protected.
Lino took delight in life's simple pleasures, whether it was watching soccer games, having a morning cup of coffee, and visiting his homeland of Portugal. Ultimately, nothing brought him greater joy than being surrounded by his family.
Lino is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years and partner of 45 years, Stephanie L. Borges of Milford, MA; his daughter, Natasha L. Borges of Uxbridge, MA; his son, Justin D. Borges, along with his fiancée, Nathalia Aguiar of Northbridge, MA; his five brothers, Jose Borges and his wife, Fatima Borges of Framingham, MA; Rui Borges and his wife, Maria do Ceu Borges of Framingham, MA; Armenio Borges and his partner, Mary Desilets of Milford, MA; Daniel Borges and his partner, David Hayter of Boston, MA; and Jimmy Borges and his wife, Lisa Borges of Westerly, RI; his two sisters, Maria Monteiro and her husband, Manuel Monteiro of Milford, MA, and Mercedes Gandolfo of Ashland, MA; along with his twelve beloved nieces and nephews and seventeen great-nieces and nephews.
Lino was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Silvia Borges, and his father, Domingos Borges.
To know him was to truly adore him, and to be loved by him was an extraordinary gift.
A wake will be held on Sunday, November 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford, MA 01757, followed by a private service on Monday, November 24.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
