Adrian Fields

Mr. Adrian Fields, 60, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Mr. Fields was born in Newark, NJ on April 29, 1964 to Joyce Fields and the late George Fields. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith where he served as drum captain in the school band. He later attended Virginia State University where he majored in music. Mr. Fields was a United States Army Veteran. Adrian had a passion for music and was a well-known musician and DJ. He was a long-time member of the band Merge Right, and most recently joined the family of Nu Soul.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Eugene Boswell, and his bonus fathers, James C. Talley and Thomas Wood.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories two daughters, Tomeka Davis of Hopewell, VA and Joyce Beard of Conyers, GA; one grandson, TreVeon Jones; granddaughters, Nia Jones, Isabella and Gabriella Mack; great-grandchildren, Aurora Jones-Valentine and Kyree Greene; his mother, Joyce Talley Wood; sister, Sharonda Fields (Oscar) of Danville, VA; one aunt, Rosetta Parker (Lloyd) of Butner, NC; bonus siblings, Veresia Wood, Al Wood, Rodney Wood Sr., and Claude Wood; special friends, Gilbert Baskerville and Margaret Coleman, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Adrian Fields will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Elder William Howerton, Sr. delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Jct., VA. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
