Gordon was born June 8, 1950 in Henderson, NC. a son of Clarence Thomas and Bessie Gales Fields. Gordon was a US Army Veteran and he loved fishing.
Surviving are his wife: Elizaveta A. Fields; two children: Sebastian Phillips and Ariana Phillips; siblings: Millicent Fields Clifton, Linda Susan Fields Danzer, and Mary Fields Lemay.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 10:00 am till 12 Noon at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, (843.293.4505), 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC. 29577.
Burial will be private at Florence National Cemetery.
