Adrian Keith Fowler, age 77, of Ellenboro passed on to Heaven on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.
He is predeceased by his wife Nina Bradley Fowler as well as his parents Charlie and Lois Fowler. He is survived by his brothers Dean and Ron Fowler. He is remembered as Dad by Twila Nunnery, Celeste Aldridge, and Sean Hoehn. He joined Nina in loving her daughters Melody Evans, Marlene Scruggs (deceased), Melinda DeVoss, and Melissa Brooks. He is called Papaw by Jamie Mode, Bobbi Whelchel, John Evans, Jordan Brooks, Seth Schroeder, Emilea Padgett, Hayley Nunnery, Kyley Nunnery, and Quincey Nunnery. He was blessed with great-grandchildren: Trent Mode, Lauren Hardin, Trevor Mode, Lane Whelchel, Lily Whelchel, Lilah Whelchel, Cameron Brooks, Holden Brooks, and Bo Brooks. Great-great-grandchildren abound McKinleigh Hardin, Madelynn Hardin, Hudson Mode, Shawn Schroeder, Ryker Schroeder, Madilynn Sommerfelt, Ravyn Schroeder, Crystal Samuels, Sean Hoehn-Samuels, Hagen Ervin, Colton Ervin, Beau Ervin, and Veronica Nunnery.
Adrian stood for God and his country. He was a decorated Navy Seal Veteran. After the military he spent his years in the transportation industry. First as a long haul trucker and then as a tour bus driver. Many of his passengers became as near and dear to his heart as family. He could make you laugh and was always brutally honest. He will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, October 14, 2024 at Race Path Baptist Church. The Rev. Owen Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm Monday at the church prior to the service.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
