On behalf of the Montiel Family, firstly we would like to thank God for giving Adrian to us in this life, for allowing him to live here on earth with us. Everyone will agree, at 38 years old he was taken from us too soon. He is at peace now. We are at peace, though hurt, knowing that he is with God and in paradise eternally. No one has the answer as to why except God. God knows. He will be missed, so missed. He was loved so loved. Our lives are forever changed, but we will see him again one day.

When Adrian was born, he was a gorgeous baby. Born in Bakersfield in 1986. He graduated from Arvin High School. He had lots of friends, talked to anyone, but most importantly loved his family. Those that had the pleasure of knowing him knew he was a true friend. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother and uncle. His sons Adrian and Ryan were his loves, his priority. They were everything to him. Adrian was a beautiful son to his parents Benito and Selma. He always worried about them, and made sure they were ok. He loved his only brother Jr. and his sisters Michelle and Raquel. He loved hard. Ardian had a beautiful soul. Some of his hobbies were working on his truck, working on his plants, but the greatest hobby was BBQing. He could cook up some good food, but his specialty was ribs. Adrian loved country music, he could sing the hell out of it, knew all the words. He never hesitated to ask his mom, sisters, nieces, whoever was there to dance with him. Mijo, we will dance with you again one day. Adrian brought light into any room he entered, always joking, laughing, pinching his sisters arms, teasing whoever was in the room. Life will never be the same without him. Rest in peace mijo, may you be with God eternally, we all love you.

Adrian is survived by his sons Adrian Daniel Montiel and Ryan Anthony Montiel, his parents Benito Montiel and Selma Benavente Montiel. His sister Michelle Montiel Gonzalez, brother-in-law Jorge Gonzalez, nephew Jorge Fabian Gonzalez niece Eva Jovita Gonzalez. His sister Raquel Montiel Baca, brother-in-law Jonathan Baca, nieces Christina Michelle Baca Perez, Celeste Baca, Ezra Lee Baca. His brother Benito Jr. Montiel sister-in-law, Gabriela Montiel, nephews Andrew Benito Montiel, Christian Alexzander Montiel and Nicholas Gabriel Montiel.
