Adrian Ortiz, age 22, was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin on October 21, 2002 to Crystal (Weber) and Felipe Ortiz. He blessed this world until January 1, 2025, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
Adrian spent his life making sure others did not feel alone and knew how to put a smile on anyone's face. He was your classic goofy guy that had the funniest jokes. For those who knew him, Adrian truly had a heart of gold and was a family man at his core. He was always proud to tell people about his family and how much they meant to him.
While he was only starting his life, Adrian accomplished many things: graduating from Rhinelander High School in 2021, working hard to purchase his first car, becoming a father to his beautiful daughter Maezzie, and even did some solo traveling throughout the states.
There were lots of things Adrian enjoyed throughout his life, some of his favorites were: being Mexican, sharing his experiences with people, cracking a good joke or prank, cats, trying spicy foods, a good cologne, talking to his family, and being a dad to his daughter.
Survivors include his daughter, Maezzie Starr Ortiz; mom, Crystal Weber; sisters, Daisy Ortiz, Kayley Huss, and Lily Huss; and brother, Kyle Weber. Adrian is further survived by his step-father, Tim Weber; aunts, Beth (Matt) Rodwell and Paula (Dan) Stephens; and great-grandfather, Marty Drews. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, Blake Read, Aurianna Terpstra, Patrick (Rissa) Terpstra, and Payton Harmel; as well as many other relatives and friends in his life.
Adrian was preceded in death by his dad, Felipe Ortiz; grandfather, Larry Thomas; grandmother, Dawn Drews; great-grandmother, Helen Drews; and brother, Jacob Weber.
A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
The family would like to thank all of those who made a positive impact in Adrian's life.
