Adrian Lynn Rawson

Our beloved Father, Brother, and Friend Adrian Lynn Rawson of Dillon, Montana, sadly left our world unexpectantly on May 28th, 2025. Born in Burns, Oregon, at nearly 110 mph on November 10th, 1961, to Dorothy May Rawson (Simpson) and Joseph Leo Rawson.

He will be terribly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him, especially his children, Kyle Rawson and Sarah Rawson. His children touched his heart and soul more deeply than words can ever express. He was also a devoted brother, sharing a fierce and unshakable bond with his older brother, Gayle Rawson. They were in contact daily, and they were best friends. His sister Grayce Rawson would lovingly make him breakfast every workday, whether he needed it or not. His youngest sister, Karla Rawson, always held a very special place in his heart. Adrian is predeceased by and now reunites with both Karla and their beloved mother, Dorothy. His father, Leo, is and forever will be his hero. He loved all of his family. He shared his days with his loyal red heeler, Reba, who was his little companion. He made unforgettable memories with one of his best friends, Blaine Torgerson. He held very special relationships with Lorri Fitzwater Tappero and Deb Hursh, among others. He loved his close friends and treated them like family.

Adrian is described by many as the strong, silent type, but a thoughtful listener who brought comfort and strength to those around him. He is the kind of man who would pull anyone out of a snowbank, bring them firewood, and offer the shirt off his back, never wanting anything in return. Those who were lucky enough to truly know him loved and respected him, holding him in the highest regard. A gifted concrete pump mechanic, Adrian was widely respected in his industry and known for his unmatched work ethic - a legacy inherited from his parents, whom he always looked up to. He moved back to his childhood stomping grounds - Dillon, Montana in 2014, where he worked at LS Ready Mix. They were lucky to have him, and he enjoyed his team there.

He loved the great outdoors: ice fishing, camping, hiking into alpine lakes, off-roading in his Jeep, snowmobiling, and hunting (especially duck hunting with his brother and their single-action shotguns). But most of all, He loved being a Dad and proudly raising his kids with their mother, Sherri Pence Milbank. He would take any opportunity to spend quality time with his son Kyle, whether it was teaching him how to fix a mechanical issue, instilling values, enjoying the great outdoors hunting and fishing, giving advice, or sitting down to watch a western movie. He always cherished his bond with his little girl, Sarah, who showed him how precious life could be. He taught her how to be strong, along with other valuable lessons she will never forget.

He loved a good steak and a campfire with friends and family. The Fourth of July was his favorite holiday - he enjoyed putting on a huge fireworks display for anyone who wanted to watch. He never missed a chance to passionately defend John Wayne or cheer on his Minnesota Vikings, always holding out hope for that long-awaited Super Bowl win. He loved to watch people smile, laugh, and enjoy good food. He gave generously to causes that supported children, quietly helping where he could. His life was built on loyalty, quiet kindness, and doing right by others - values that will remain a guiding light for those he leaves behind.

Adrian will be missed more than we can express. Per his wishes, no formal services will be held. His family will quietly say their goodbyes until we all see each other again in faith.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers.
