Adrienne Clement

Adrienne Clement was born in Anse-A-Veau, Haiti, on September 22, 1934, to Julie Dupiche and Osmin Saint Albord. She married Lucien Clement at the age of 20 and became a farmer as well as a seamstress. She later moved to the United States and lived in the Bronx, NY, and Philadelphia, PA. While in the United States, she became a nanny to families around New York and helped raise her grandchildren.
Adrienne's life was a testament to her unwavering faith. As a member of Heavenly Boat Church of God, she found joy in worship, especially through dancing. Her infectious laughter and warm smile could brighten anyone's day.
She passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 17, 2024, after a few years of illness. She was 89 years old. She was the wife of Lucien Clement, with whom she survived.
Adrienne was a devoted mother to: Franchette Nougues, Clerveau Clement, Fritz Gerald Clement, Natacha Clement, Annuelle Valcourt, Valtine Raphael, the late Claude Clement, the late Nicol Clement, and a loving grandmother to: Merlyne Kerlew, Felix Nougues, Jr., Nelson Nougues, Garvey Alex Nogues, Ketura Clement, Guetchina Clement, Sterline Clement, Mysterline Clement, Marvia Clement, Kevin Clement, Luciana Clement, Samuel Clement, David Valcourt, Marcus Valcourt, Oliver Valcourt, Soriah Raphael, Adriana Raphael, Jeremiah Raphael. She was also a cherished great grandmother to: Amir Kerlew, Kai Kerlew, Zamir Bradford, Layani Nougues, and Dakota Nougues. Adrienne was the sister to Andre Saint Albord (deceased), Leonce Saint Albord (deceased), Oslet Saint Albord (deceased), Miriame Charlier (deceased), Wilda Pompilus (deceased), and Francoise Saint Albord (deceased).
We will remember her vibrant personality, love for people, and passionate prayers to her Father.
Relatives and friends are invited to Adrienne's Life Celebration on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 9:00 a.m. at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154. Interment will follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery. Services for Adrienne will be livestreamed on the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/JohnFGivnishLifeCelebration starting at 9:00 a.m.
