Adrienne "Andi" Tecza

Adrienne "Andi" Tecza, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 75, after a long struggle with IPF. Born to the late Louis and Marie "Chickie" Petrone, Andi met and married Edward in 1969. After living in various parts of the country and Far East, she, her husband and their three children settled in Duluth, GA., in 1986.
In her life, Andi wore many hats. She was a dental technician, a veterinary assistant, and a publicist. Her most cherished role, however, because she loved children, was one where she worked closely with them. For over 25 years, Andi volunteered and worked in various capacities in the Gwinnett County School System. Known affectionately as "Ms. Andi", she was a familiar, smiling face and constant source of joy and comfort to the many students, families and teachers that she supported. After retiring, she volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate to continue fighting for children's best interests.
Some of our most vivid memories will be of Andi in her kitchen, standing at her butcher block, utensil in hand. She was a prolific cook, at home and in her catering business, and a talented hostess. She loved taking care of people, and bringing them together, to share food and stories and laughter. Through her cooking, she created memories that will forever tie together her family and friends, and it was always a feast.
Andi was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed; her children, Lisa (Michael) Balaban, Luke, and Erin (Alex) Trémouilhac; her grandchildren, Hannah (Steven) Spicer, Mason (Coral) Zazado, Emma, and Mathilde-Marianna and Louis-Martin; and her great-grandchildren, Chris, Ben, Mattie, and Wynnie Spicer. She is also survived by her loving sister, Gloriann Lombardo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Andi was truly loved, and will be forever missed.
A Celebration of Life service for Adrienne will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Adrienne "Andi" Tecza's honor.
