Jose Guadalupe Alvarez

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jose Guadalupe Alvarez announces his peaceful passing on November 22, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on December 12, 1939, in Mexico, Jose later made his home in Loganville, Georgia, where he built a life grounded in love, hard work, and unwavering resilience.
Jose is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Maria Alvarez, and their three children: Josefina Alvarez, Ana Alvarez, and Juan Alvarez. He was a proud and loving grandfather to ten grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
A dedicated worker throughout his career, Jose retired from the construction industry, where he was admired for his strong work ethic and steadfast commitment. In retirement, he found peace in life's simple pleasures-especially his long walks to the park, where he enjoyed the quiet beauty of nature.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Alvarez and Maria Jacinto.
The Alvarez family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They invite all who knew and loved Jose to join them in celebrating his life and sharing cherished memories.
The family will gather with friends on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory.
