Agathe Denault

Agathe (Lallier) Denault, 93, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born in Black Lake, Quebec, Canada and resided in the Hartford area most of her life.
Agathe was predeceased by her beloved husband, David, who passed in 2008. She was a devoted mother to her four sons: Ken and wife Donna; Marc and wife Tina; Gary and wife Bridget, all of West Hartford, and Brian and wife Dana of Simsbury. She was a loving grandmother to Kimberly, Christopher, Tyler, Noël, Alexandria, Zachary, Ashleigh, Nicholle, and Brendan, and a cherished great-grandmother to Anna, Chloe, Mason, Nora and Summer.
Agathe treasured time with her family and took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, card games, had a lifelong love of music, and spent many years playing the organ. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan who rarely missed a UConn basketball game and enjoyed watching hockey.
The family extends sincere appreciation to the caregivers at Autumn Lake in West Hartford. A special thanks to Jessica Rosario and Vernell Gilbert for their compassionate care while Agathe was home.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, West Hartford, directly across the street from the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
