She was a proud 1951 graduate of Loogootee High School and spent 43 years working as a sander at Indiana Furniture, where her commitment and hard work were greatly valued. Agnes was a cherished member of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, where she served as the former treasurer. Her love for bingo, crossword puzzles, and word searches was well-known, as was her passion for being outdoors and taking walks in any weather.
Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Berry, whom she married on June 30, 1962, and who passed away on March 19, 1999. She was also predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Betty (Larry) Hotz, Violet (Wayne) Ruckriegel, Mary (Frank) Berry and Charlie (Geneva) Tomey. She is survived by her son, Woodrow Berry of Jasper, and her half-brother, Michael Fields of Loogootee.
Agnes's life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13th, 2025, at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Loogootee, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
