Agnes J. Chevrette

Agnes J Chevrette, 89 lifelong resident of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully at Hanover Hill Health Care Center on September 5, 2025.

Born on February 23, 1936 in Manchester, NH. She was the daughter of the late John T and Mary Irene (Sullivan) Baroody. She was a graduate of St Joseph's High School and later settled into her most cherished role as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was married to the late Norbert G Chevrette for 41 years.

Once her children were older she began her second career as a Switchboard Operator for Lechmere where she worked until her retirement.

Agnes had a deep love for the simple pleasures. She enjoyed family day trips to the mountains, lakes and beaches. She loved to go antiquing with family and seeing musicals. She had a love for all animals.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Baroody of Manchester NH/Florida; her son Brian N Chevrette and wife Darlene of Manchester, NH: daughters Sandra Romanos and husband Douglas Wilber of Weare, NH, Jennifer Hales and husband Chad of Manchester, NH; Grandchildren Elizabeth Penn and her partner Matt Thompson of Manchester, NH, Tyler Penn and wife Lauryn of Manchester, NH, Kenneth Penn and wife Irene of Manchester, NH, Ryan Romanos, Colby Hales, Dylan Chevrette and Austin Chevrette all of Manchester, NH: Great Grandchildren Wesley and Reese Penn, Elliott and Quentin Penn, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Edward Baroody, her husband Norbert G Chevrette and her daughter Donna (Chevrette) Penn.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm, with a funeral service starting immediately after at 12 pm at the Funeral Home. Internment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bedford, NH.
