Agnes was born on July 27, 1946, in Harvey. She was the daughter of Otto and Catherine (Schneider) Krenzel. Agnes attended grade school in Orrin and graduated from Anamoose High School. Agnes spent her whole life on the family farm until she moved to the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey in December of 2023. She was a true farmer and worked hard on the farm doing whatever was needed whether it was cooking, milking cows, hauling bales, or driving truck. Agnes loved spring and all the new baby animals on the farm. Agnes was a caregiver for her parents until their deaths. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for her family and friends.
Agnes was active in her church first in Orrin and later in Anamoose. She was also a member of the Right To Life. She also served on the Pierce County Election Board. Agnes spent many hours sewing for herself and her family, doing crafts, gardening, and canning.
Agnes is survived by her brother and best friend, Leo Krenzel of Orrin; brother and sister-in-law, Rudy and Regina Krenzel of Germany; two sisters-in-law, Deb Krenzel of Horace, ND and Karen Krenzel of Harvey; several nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe, Otto, Pius, Romanus, Hugo, and Tony; nephew, Billy Krenzel; niece, Angela Krenzel; and sister-in-law, Sharon Krenzel.
