John H. Krenzel Sr.

John Harvey Krenzel, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital. Born on July 16, 1957, in Wheeling, West Virginia, John lived a full and dedicated life in service to his family, friends, and community.

John spent his career as a pest control technician, where he worked tirelessly to help families and businesses keep their homes and workplaces safe. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. John was passionate about hunting and fishing, pursuits that brought him great joy throughout his life. He also had a profound passion for football and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A proud member of the Polish American Patriot (PAP) Club, John cherished the camaraderie and connections he made through his involvement in the community. His warm spirit and generosity were felt by all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edmund and Dorothy Krenzel, and his cherished wife, Nancy Cecilia (Myles) Krenzel. He leaves behind his loving children, Teisha Krenzel and Johnny Krenzel, Jr., who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is also survived by his two devoted sisters, Linda (Brian) Flanagan and Barbara Nanney, along with several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists, located at 3828 Jacob Street, Wheeling, WV. A celebration of John's life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.carechapel.com.
