Agnes Kress Obituary
Agnes Irene "Teentz" Kress, wife of the late Leo Monroe Kress, Jr., died peacefully in her bed on Tuesday afternoon, February 20th, 2024, at the Morningside House of Ellicott City, MD.
She was the daughter of Joseph Ellwood Federline, Sr. and Agnes Irene (nee Hahn), both now deceased. She was predeceased by her only sibling, Joseph Ellwood Federline, Jr.
Agnes graduated from Mercy Catholic High School, Baltimore Junior College, and the University of Maryland. From 1968 to 1971, she worked as a Microbiologist in research laboratories for Becton Dickenson and later at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Joseph Monastery Parish in Baltimore City.
She is survived by two daughters, Joell Lee Springer of Elkridge, and Angela Irene Kress of Catonsville, and her son-in-law, Jonathan Scott Springer; Grandchildren, Justin Lee "Buddy" Mattox and Forrest Ellwood Springer.
