New Iberia, LA - A Home-going Celebration for Mrs. Agnes Marie Antoine 66, the former Agnes Marie Gloud will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Minister Betty Dugas, officiating.
She will await the resurrection at Belle Church of Christ Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 beginning at 7:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Agnes Marie Antoine was born on August 5, 1957, to Raymond Gloud and Eula Mae Lee Gloud.
She departed this Earthly life at 2:57 P.M. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at her residence in Loreauville, LA.
Agnes was a 19776 graduate of Loreauville High School. She was a member of Belle Church of Christ. Her employment included working five years for Martin Mills, two years for Lowe's, and over twelve years for Schlumberger. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was everything to her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Alton Antoine, Sr., of Loreauville, LA; two daughters, Crystal (Carlos) Archangel of Broussard, LA and Lakisha (Christopher) Mitchell of Coteau, LA; three sons, Michael (Shantell) Antoine of Jeanerette, LA, Alonzo (Magan) Antoine and Scottie Antoine both of Loreauville, LA; one brother, Clarence (Rhonda) Lee of Houston, TX; four bonus children, Amanda (Kenny) Simmons of Lafayette, LA, Alton Antoine, Jr. of Loreauville, LA, Theo (Elauna) Antoine of Carencro, LA, and Thaddeus (Latonia) Olivier-Antoine of Houston, TX; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, six godchildren, Rachel Davis, Demetrias Bonnet, Anjelica Zachary, Dwayne Lee, Edward Flugence, and J'Bryan Gloud; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Gloud and Eula Mae Lee Gloud; maternal grandparents, Willie and Anna Armstead Lee; paternal grandparents, Paul and Elvige Mouton Gloud; three brothers, Clarence Lee, Sr., Curtis Gloud, Sr., and Leon Gloud, Sr.
Active Pallbearers are John Lee, Carlos Archangel, Sr., Drake Gaspard, Slaydan Antoine, J'Bryan Gloud, and Curtis Gloud.
Honorary Pallbearers are Lloyd Lee, Sr., Gerald Anthony, Sr., Dwayne Lee, Sr., and Nephews of the deceased.
