Agnes Dorothy Pueschel, age 87, passed away at Wynn Hospital on May 13, 2024. Agnes grew up in a loving home in Little Falls, NY, as one of 11 children to Charlie and Marguerite Pueschel. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1955. Never venturing far from her family home, she worked for Allegro Shoe Corporation in Little Falls and then at LaSalle Labs after Allegro closed.
Agnes was an avid animal lover and was surrounded by countless pet dogs, cats, and songbirds. Agnes enjoyed pouring, firing, and painting her own ceramics that she shared with her family, as well as, sold at local craft fairs. However, one of her favorite things to do was to cook and bake for her family. Agnes didn't say the words, "I love you" but her entire family knew it every time she cooked their favorite meal or baked treat. None of her family will ever forget the dozens of pies at Thanksgiving or the plethora of cookies baked at Christmas time.
Agnes is predeceased by her parents Charlie and Marguerite Pueschel, seven sisters, Evelyn (James) MacDonald, Helena (George) Drab, Allie (John) Bevington, Alice (Angelo) Rotondi, Marjorie (David) Hazzard, Virginia Loren, Patricia (Stanley) Barnes, and one brother, Charles (Carol) Pueschel. She is survived by two sisters, Ella (William) Lassell and Maryellen (Sam) Surace, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Agnes is also survived by a special niece, Donna (Barry) Rowley who lovingly cared for her on a daily basis for the last several years and who was her closest friend and companion.
A graveside service will be held at Rural Park Cemetery at Inghams Mills on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Services are entrusted to Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365
