Agnes Radnor Obituary
Agnes Marion (Fleschut) Radnor, 92, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Mountain
Top, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, Lake Wylie, South
Carolina with loved ones by her side. Agnes was known for her warmth, humor,
boundless energy, and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by family, friends,
and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Born on February 9, 1933, in Kingston, PA, Agnes grew up the beloved daughter of
Julius Fleschut and Helen (Bower) Fleschut. She was a graduate of Kingston High
School. Prior to her retiring she was employed by JC Penney as an office administrator.
Agnes was also involved with Mountain Top Knee Hi football league, running the
concession stand for many years.
Agnes’s hands were rarely still; she found joy in the simple acts of gardening, tending to
her flower beds, sharing cuttings, and for her fabulous baked goods, a trait passed
down from her mother. In her later years she enjoyed many arts and crafts and eagerly
took part in all events available to her. Agnes also loved animals. She could be caught
sneaking them treats, putting ice cubes in their water bowls, softly talking to them and
giving pets and cuddles.
Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald W. Radnor,
her son Donald W. Radnor, her parents, Julius and Helen and all nine of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon, of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Sirni, PA and son
Philip, MI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Though her hands are now at rest, the impact of her kindness and the joy she gave
remain with us. A memorial service will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill,
SC, on a date to be announced.
An additional celebration of Agnes’s remarkable life will take place later in Mountain
Top, PA. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Agnes are encouraged to perform an
act of kindness or share a baked treat in her spirit. May her humor keep us smiling, her
generosity keep us giving, and her memory forever bloom in the hearts of those she
loved.
