“He rode not just to reach a destination, but to find freedom in the journey.”

Frank Carter, age 78, of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away while doing what he loved most—cycling on his bike.

Frank lived a full and active life, finding joy not only in cycling but also in capturing the world through his passion for photography. Riding his bike was more than a hobby; it was his way of escaping the world and finding peace within himself. He had a soft spot for all animals and was known for his kindness and gentle spirit toward every creature he encountered.

He also had a lifelong love of bowling and proudly shared the story of the time he bowled a perfect 300 game—a moment he carried with pride and humor throughout his life.

Above all, Frank was a devoted Christian man who had a deep love for Jesus. His faith guided him throughout his life and gave him strength, peace, and purpose.

He is survived by his beloved sisters, Mary, Brenda, and Nancy; his two sons, Frank and Jason Carter; his cherished granddaughter, Kendall, who brought him immense pride and happiness; and his nieces and nephews - Nolan, Ted, Meagan, Shelby and Kayla.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
