SANTA FE – Mr. Al Corsaro (77 years) passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1947. Al was a lifelong resident of Alta Loma (Santa Fe) and a 1965 graduate of Santa Fe High School. Al proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Al's whole life was devoted to his family by keeping Italian traditions alive. Gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends was his passion. He was a lifelong active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Alfio and Rosie Corsaro; his great-great niece, Rose Nesburg.
He is survived by his older brother, Frank Corsaro; sister, Sadie Corsaro; nieces, Kim Ivy (Doug), Kathi Nesburg (Steven); nephew and Godson, Frank Corsaro, II, (Beth). Al was so proud of his great-nephews, Andrew Nesburg (Emily) and Austen Nesburg (Katie). Al doted on his great-great-niece, Isla; she loved her Uncle "Owl".
Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Alvin Lovelady officiating. A Rosary will follow recited by Mr. Don LeCompte.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Larry Wilson, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, in Dickinson, Texas.
Special thanks to his two nieces, Kim Ivy and Kathi Nesburg for their love, care, and support during his time of illness.
