Alan Robert Daniel Cain passed away at his Manhattan Kansas apartment on Friday June 20th, 2025.
Alan Robert Daniel Cain was born 9/15/1994 to Walter Daniel Cain and Marla Sue Cain.
He was a good student and attended several different grade schools in Manhattan Kansas. Alan graduated from Manhattan High School in 2013 and started Vo-tech his senior year to study building trades for 18 months.
He was a wrestler in Manhattan Optimus Club and for Rock Creek as a kid then wrestled in High School.
Alan moved to New York in 2014 – 2015, then back to Manhattan due to health issues where he lived in the surrounding area for the remainder of his life.
Alan enjoyed the outdoors and was a Boy Scout most of his life. Earned his Eagle Scout in 2012. Enjoyed hanging out with family.
Survived by both Grandpa's Kenneth Cain and Wayne Carstenson (wife Jacqueline) both parents and two siblings: Chad Cain (wife Erica and two kids Victor and Vivian), Shana Cain (two kids Trent Hardin and Alyssa Hardin) along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by both maternal grandmother's Dorthy Cain and Letha Carstenson. Step-grandmother, Irene Cain, uncle, John Cain, uncle, Mark Volle and a cousin Barbie Cain.
Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate the life of Alan will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, June 30, 2025 at Westview Community Church, 615 Gillespie Drive, Manhattan, KS. A reception and lunch will be held at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made in Alan's memory to Boy Scouts of America Coronado Area Council, 644 S. Ohio Street, Salina KS 67401-3346 or to the Epilepsy Foundation Missouri and Kansas, 2340 E. Meyer Blvd, Bldg 1, Suite 300 B, Kansas City, MO 64132.
