My family loved Alan so much! We are all heartbroken to hear of his passing. I first met him when we were both in our late teens or early 20´s when he was working for my dad at Tallahassee Communications. Years later when my siblings and I took over the business and changed the name to First Communications, Alan came back to work with us. He was an outstanding team member and pitched in any time he could to take care of his customers and coworkers. He would certainly brighten your day anytime he was around. He was always upbeat and encouraging. He and my oldest son Eli were very close and always stayed in touch. Last time I talked to Alan was a few months ago when he called because he was trying to reach Eli. Our fathers knew and respected each other too and Alan always inquired about our parents. We are all so sorry for his loss. Much love and many prayers to all who loved and will miss him.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Alan's passing. He was a joy to work with and I will never forget how he would light up when he smiled. I always enjoyed talking with him about camping and he made me laugh with his anecdotes about hiking in the southwest. Alan didn't sit still for long - if it was a slow work day, he stayed busy tidying up and reorganizing. He was always willing to jump in to help with whatever came up. He had a great nature about him and will be remembered with fondness.
