Alan Fleming Obituary
Alan graduated from Rensselaer High School with the Class of 1960. On December 31, 1960, in Lafayette, GA, he married Diana Odle and she preceded him on February 1, 2026.
Alan proudly served as a member of the United States Army. He was also a member of the Retired Iron Club and the Lions Club. Alan worked as a machinist at White Castle for 14 years. In his free time, he enjoyed snowmobiling in Michigan. He also considered himself a restaurant connoisseur and always looked forward to trying new places.
Alan is survived by his sons, Brannon (Connie) Odle of Greenwood, IN, Jeffrey Alan Fleming of Rensselaer, and Scott (Nadja Smith) Fleming of Zionsville, IN; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diana; his parents; one brother, Larry; one sister, Gayla.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM CT at Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM CT, with Pastor Jeff Seger officiating.
