Alan Wayne Hinson, 67, of McRae, Georgia died on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Eastman, Georgia. He was born on Friday, December 7, 1956, in McRae, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.W. Hinson and Mary Joyce McMullen Hinson and his brother, James David Hinson. Wayne's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and community.
Professionally, Wayne dedicated many years of service as a Clerk at Chas Mar Home & Garden. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Wayne is survived by his Wife - Cindy Hinson of McRae; Children - Joshua Hinson (Kayla) of McRae, Michael Hinson (Lucie) of Irmo, South Carolina, Blake Conley (Mercedes) of Jesup, Dylan Conley of McRae and Cidnee Williams of McRae; and 14 Grandchildren. Wayne's love extended to his siblings and extended family. He is also survived by his sister, Donna White (Ed) of McRae; Sisters-in-law - Tammy Hinson of McRae and Candi Lann (Jason) of Eastman; Mother-in-law - Maxine Knowles of McRae, along with several nieces and nephews.
His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories shared by his family and the many lives he touched.
The family will receive friends at Lowes Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home. Rev. John Conley will officiate. Interment will be at Erick Christian Church Cemetery.
