Alan N. Irizarry, 67, of Valley Stream NY, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 30, 1958, in The Bronx, New York, Alan was the beloved son of Silvia and Louis Irizarry. He grew up surrounded by family who cherished him, and he carried that same love and warmth into every stage of his life. Alan is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Patricia, who stood faithfully by his side throughout their journey together. He is also survived by his brothers Daniel (Gudy) and Dorian. He was preceded in death by his brother Edwin. Alan was a proud and loving uncle to his niece Sylvia and nephews Daniel and Alexander, and a great-uncle to Elaine Christine, Sylvia Patricia, and Scott Louis.
Alan was deeply loved by all who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine heart touched countless lives, leaving behind memories that will be forever treasured. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Alan's memory to The Fabulous Feline Inc., an organization he co-founded and was close to his heart.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Alan, please visit our floral store.
