Mr. Alan T. Lunn, 77, of Milford MA died Thursday (September 11, 2025) at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence RI after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Alimenti) DiMartino.

Alan was born in Boston MA, the son of the late Arthur J. Lunn and the late Edith H. (Toland) Lunn. He was raised in Dorchester MA and was a graduate of Charlestown High School in 1965, where he studied electrical services.

Following high school Alan enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his military service he was employed as a union electrician working out of Union Local #103 of the IBEW in Boston, until his retirement in 2012 .

Along with his beloved wife & her family, he is survived by his 2 sons: David A Lunn of VT and James Lunn of Franklin MA. He is also survived by his brother Gregg Lunn and his wife Ruthann of North Attleboro MA; his sister-in-law: Marie Lunn of Melrose MA; his granddaughter: Sarah Lunn of Pascoe RI; his step-grandson: George Alexandropoulos of Blackstone MA.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Funeral Services will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED. Burial of his cremains will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree MA. A visiting hour will be held on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED, prior to his Funeral Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family highly encourages donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite #250, Framingham MA 01701.
