Alan Fredrick Marshall

On Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, Alan Frederick Marshall was called home at the age of 82. Alan was born in Port Huron, MI, on February 22nd, 1940. He moved with his family to Tacoma WA, in 1943. He attended Catholic schools and graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1958. He attended St. Thomas Seminary and was ordained a Catholic Priest in 1966. Alan was a devoted and well-loved priest who served multiple parishes throughout Western Washington. He left the Priesthood in 1997 to begin life with a family and leaves behind his children; Abigaelle Marshall, Andre Marshall and Marie Marshall; sister Patricia (Pam) Henslee; stepchildren Eric Strunk, Laura Kohl, Jacob Strunk, and Michael Strunk; nine grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews and many friends. He loved fishing, hiking in the Olympics, sharing God's word with others and spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Angela Marshall, sister Jacqueline (Jackie) Rago, and brother Gerald (Jerry) Marshall.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Independence, Oregon. Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family. www.dallastribute.com.
