Alan Kerwin O'Large Jr. was born September 17,1971 in Joliet, IL to Ernestine (Tennie) Walters and Alan O'Large Sr. He was a long time resident of Joliet.

Alan attended AO Marshall and Hufford Junior High School, and Joliet West High School. Alan later on obtained his G.E.D.

Alan was a member of Jubilee Christian Outreach Center in Lockport, IL where he was baptized in Jesus Christ.

Alan departed this life suddenly on Friday, August 22, 2025 in Joliet, IL. He was very caring, loving and hardworking and self-driven individual. He was also a devoted husband and father, stepfather and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Ernestine (Tennie) Walters and Alan O'Large Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Minnie Walter-Boltons and Johnnie Walter and his paternal grandfather, Nolan Carter and his aunt, Victoria Holder and his two children, Alan O'Large II and Sha'Kella Williams-Adams and his two granddaughters, Seriyah Heavens and O'Riyan Faith Cherry.

Alan leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Sheila O'Large and his paternal grandmother, Annie-Mae O'Large and his only brother, Tracy O'Large; his children, Artesia, She'Leya (Adam) and Ashley, Alan III and Devonte,Tavon and Kei'Andre. And his step children, Shayheam (Jalessa), Sha'Quinta and his grandchildren and special friend, Kassie Shelby and a host of family, friends, aunts, uncles, nieces.
