Alan Reese Obituary
Alan graduated from Warren Easton High School in 1964 and worked in the pest control industry most of his life.
In his earlier years, Alan traveled with a local, semi-pro football team, and was a member of the New Orleans Musicians Alumni Association. His passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the New Orleans Quarter Notes "oldies" band were his true passion.
He is survived by his loving son, Alan Jude Reese, Jr., and loving companion of 38 years, Peggy Van Matre. He is also survived by his brother, Jack E. Reese, Sr., as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Reese, Sr., and Josephine Aubert Reese; and his siblings, Oscar William Reese, Jr., Marie Russell, Joseph Reese, Zulma Monroe, Yvonne Bader and Patsy Evans.
We would like to thank caregiver, Patsy Perkins, for her love and support of Alan during these last seven years.
