Albert (Butch) Belcher, aged 78, passed away on February 1, 2025. Born on June 4, 1947, in Newberry, Michigan, he was the son of the late Howard and Retha (Baber) Belcher. Butch was a devoted husband to the late Donna, with whom he shared 48 beautiful years of marriage.

He was a loving father to Jennifer (Chris) Atkinson, Kimberlee Belcher, and Brian Belcher. Butch took great pride in being a grandpa to his grandchildren, Meghan (Eric) Howard, Mallory (Travis) Howard, Madelyn (Brandon Perault) Wendel, Lexi (Chandler) Shazri, and Lillian Belcher. He leaves behind a cherished legacy, with eight great-grandchildren: Cade Howard, Colt Howard, Lacey Howard, Ryder Howard, Clarie Howard, Stella Perault, Emilia Shazri, and Paityn Shazri.

Butch is also survived by his siblings: Joanne Block, Jerry (Debbie) Belcher, Shirley Dunkeld, Ron (Debi) Belcher, and Chuck (Cathy) Belcher. He is now reunited with his late wife, Donna, as well as several brothers and sisters.

For 48 years, Butch dedicated his career as a diesel mechanic for Michigan Catapillar, while showing an unwavering commitment, as he never missed a day of work.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, located at 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., and Saturday, February 8th from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. 

A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Sunday, February 9th at 12:30 P.M. officiated by Reverend Doug Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online in his memory to the National Goodfellow Fund at:

Contribution envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
