Albert Leroy Berry, a native of Dodson, LA and a resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 91. After more than 50 years, he retired from Baton Rouge Printing. He enjoyed fishing, reading especially science fiction, and keeping up with the current events of the world.
He is survived by his children, Jessica James Slocum (Derek), Christopher James, Randall Gene Hardin (Ruth), Susan Renee Berry, and Betsy Lynn Berry Sanchez; grandchildren, Aaron Johnson (Rachel), Kaitlyn Andre Buquoi (Micah); Miranda Windham (Brian); Denia Sanchez, and Selena Sanchez; 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Patricia Hulin Berry; parents, Albert Alson Berry and Willard Hutson Berry; son, Daniel Dean Berry; siblings, James R. Berry, Mary E. Bery Machin, and Ruby S. Poston.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
