Albert Theodore "Teddy" Bolinger

Albert "Teddy" Theodore Bolinger, 70, of California, MO passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in the presence of his family. He was born on August 4, 1954 at the Latham Hospital the son of Albert Ray Bolinger and Frances Lee "Frankie" Kirchoff both of whom preceded him in death. Teddy attended Latham Elementary School and graduated from California High School in 1972. He was united in marriage on September 3, 1977 at Flag Spring Baptist Church to Peggy Sperry who survives of the home. He was a active member and elder at Flag Spring Baptist Church. His work career started in high school loading turkeys at night for Ralston Purina, after high school in his younger years he worked for Vogel Dairy Farm then went to work for Western Well Pump and Layne Western drilling irrigation wells traveling through many states. He lastly returned to the farm and raised turkeys for 27 years for Cargill and was currently still working on the family farm. Teddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, member of the 20 Club, golfing, auctions, garage sales, sale barns, drinking his morning coffee and visiting with his friends, St. Louis Cardinals, watching Westerns and gardening. He was a talented carpenter, jack of all trades and his big enjoyment in life was showing livestock and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Teddy is survived by his wife Peggy Bolinger of the home; daughter, Sarah Bolinger; son, Wesley Bolinger (Miranda); 2 brothers, Jake Bolinger (Mickie) and Tony Bolinger (Marilyn); sister, Pamela Carpenter; 3 grandchildren, Emma Jane Batye, Albert Mason Bolinger and Henley RayAnn Bolinger; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Robert Bolinger; his mother and father in-law, Thomas and Wilma Sperry; 2 sister in-laws, Petricia Ward and Carol Hartle, 2 brother-in laws Larry Carpenter and Jim Hartley,. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 4-8 PM at Flag Spring Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Flag Spring Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Chapman. Burial will be at Flag Spring Cemetery. In leu of flowers memorials are suggested to an Education Fund for Teddy Bolinger's grandchildren c/o the funeral home.
