Anita Lynn "Garcia" Pace

Anita Lynn (Garcia) Pace, 67, of California, MO passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO. She was born on December 27, 1958 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Frank Garcia and Ruth Hoppman both of who preceded her in death. Anita was united in marriage on January 1, 1999 in California, MO to Kenny Pace who survives of the home. Anita worked at Moniteau Care Ctr. in California for many years. She was an active member of California FOE 4027 and enjoyed gravel roading and singing karaoke. Anita is survived by her husband Kenny Pace of the home; 5 daughters, Lynnette Thompson of California, MO, Angie Keeran of California, MO, Melissa Pierce of J.C. MO, Melanie Hancock of California, MO and Breanna Fairchild also of California, MO; 1 son, Daryl Favignano of Troy, MO; 2 stepchildren, Kurtis Pace and Michelle Pace both of California, MO and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Michael Paul Garcia and Christopher Bell. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. with a funeral service immediately following at 5:00 P.M. all at the funeral home. Officiating will be Larry Marriott. Inurnment will be at Enloe Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Autism Speaks c/o the funeral home.
