Albert William Bunting, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 13, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Born on October 20, 1942, in Trenton, NJ, he lived most of his life
in the Yardley/Morrisville area. Al loved camping, golfing and working with his hands, but his greatest joy was his family.
He is survived by Patricia, his beloved wife of 60 years, and their children: Beth, John (Kelly), and Bill (Beth Ann). Al's face would light up whenever he spoke of his seven grandchildren: Jack, Tyler, Evan, James, Charlie, Zachary, and Annalyse. He is also survived by his brother Chuck (Fran) and their children Chuck and Jennifer (Scott), along with many cherished extended family members.
Known for his kind heart and easy-going nature, Al had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He did not want a formal funeral, instead there will be a Celebration of Life at some point in the future.
For anyone that so chooses, donations to a cause that was important to him can be made at gabrielleswings.org.
Al will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness, selflessness, and appreciation for life's joys will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Condolences for the family can be left at www.fitzgeraldsommerfuneralhome.com.
