Albert L. Catalfu

Albert L. Catalfu, 83, of Corry, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Erie, PA surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 29, 1941, in Corry, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Martin) Catalfu.
Albert was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1959. While in high school, he worked for Quality Market. He then worked in manufacturing for Corry Manufacturing and later for A.O. Smith in Erie where he invented a part to greatly increase production. He then worked for Corry Chrysler Plymouth Dodge as a car salesman and then opened Catalfu's Upholstery business for 20 years. Al later became a contractor in Corry doing interior renovations.
He enjoyed wheeling and dealing, refurbishing lawn mowers and tractors as well as woodworking. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He cherished family get togethers, especially when spaghetti and meatballs were being served.
Albert was a devoted father and loved his girls with his whole heart. He is survived by two daughters, Robin (Jon) Staswoiski of Newport, NC, Jill (Kevan) Webb of Corry, PA; a stepdaughter Lisa Hatter of VA; two sisters, Kathy Cilladi of Erie, PA, Janet (George) Loren of Waterford, PA; a brother Joey (Bonnie) Catalfu of Clymer, NY.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashlee Allen, Kaitlyn Webb and Ryan Webb; one great-granddaughter Hallee Allen as well as several nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, PA on Saturday December 20, 2025, from 10 am until the time of a funeral service there at noon.
