Albert J. Daudelin, 91, of Westfield MA passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2025. He was born in Holyoke MA and raised in the Fairview section of Chicopee MA. Albert was the beloved son of the late Elzear and Juliette (Lacroix)Daudelin. Albert served in the Navy reserve from 1952-1960 assigned to the USS Lewis Hancock as a machinist. He married Annette C Couture on February 15, 1958 and was married up until her premature death in July of 1999. During their 41 years of marriage, Albert and Annette had 1 son and 4 daughters. Albert worked many years at Spartan & Saw in Agawam working as Production Manager. His favorite motto was "work hard and your work will speak for itself". Albert's favorite pastime was spent fishing any time he could. He had a contagious smile and loved spending time with his family creating many cherished memories. Albert was predeceased by his wife Annette (Couture) Daudelin; his son William Daudelin; grandson Matthew Zalucki; and sister Terry Deroin. He leaves behind 4 daughters: Alice Mitchell (Westfield), Suzanne Zalucki and Jerry (Westfield), Betty Daudelin and Patty (Springfield), and Nancy White and Keith (Chicopee); grandchildren: Brandon Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Natasha Raymond, Alex White, and Jessica Brennan; great grandchildren: Georgia, Rider and Luke; brothers: Wilfred Daudelin (Windsor Lock CT) and Henry Daudelin (Chicopee MA). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 11AM-12PM followed by a funeral home service at 12PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral and Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick MA. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his name to fight Alzheimer.
