Albert DiMattio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sperling Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. on Feb. 6, 2026.
Albert DiMattio was born on July 14, 1960, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of the late Albert and Carolyn (Gutowski) DiMattio. Al passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 5, 2026, at the age of 65. He was a longtime resident of Ross Township.

Al began and concluded his career with IBM, where he dedicated 35 years working in sales, management, and Global Finance. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.

Al truly loved life and all of its joys. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the former Highland Country Club and hitting the links at Pheasant Ridge. He cherished countless vacations to the Outer Banks and had a deep love for any beach and fishing.

Above all else, family always came first. Al devoted many years coaching his son in baseball with the North Hills Athletic Association, from T-Ball through high school. In retirement, he especially treasured the time spent with his grandchildren.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Pamela (Sheldon) DiMattio; his beloved children, Daniel (Maria) DiMattio and Carley (Dominic) Tudi; his siblings, Michael (Eileen) DiMattio and Judy Ward; and his cherished grandchildren, DiMattia, Dominic, Francesca, Vincent, Cameron, and Lucia.

Family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the link below.
